Mike Conley has played 36,596 minutes in the NBA and still hasn't been hit with a single technical foul. That's almost 19 seasons of hooping, arguing calls in his head, and somehow never crossing the line with a ref. The next closest guy was Malcolm Brogdon, who just retired…

Real hoop talk 🙏🙏 Ban the clickbait narrative bullshit that has become the standard of basketball media talk shows

ESPN debuts a new segment: Tim Legler talking X’s and O’s with coaches during game breaks More of this please. 🔥

I really do love how all the mainstay guys are all standing up and being locked in to when the third string guys are doing Big sign of culture

Important to take note of when guys get pulled for the game. By my recollection of guys fighting for backend rotation minutes, it went: Clark (left for injury) TJ Rob Bones Beringer (still in at 2:24) Gives a decent idea of a pecking order

Idk if Joan Beringer will ever be a “star”, but I feel pretty good about him being a high end starting NBA center for years to come Still has a ton of work to get there, but his current foundation of skill sets at 18, while currently raw, is incredibly valuable

We are currently seated for Johnny Juzang heat check flamethrower time

2/5 on non paint 2’s in the first half So much of his game last year was three’s or rim attacks. In theory, that’s how you want to play it, but as we saw in the playoffs, you need that mid range game Being a 3-level scorer and bettering his shot variety will benefit in June

Clearly bigger emphasis for Ant to take and make midrange shots as he said The mid range game might be schematically dead but in isolation situations, it’s such a weapon Teams will load up on him and being able to pull up before the help fully commits opens up a lot offensively

You can’t even lie, this was saucy

Rudy that ball handling and scoop pass to Jaylen Clark will not be forgotten🫡

Rudy that ball handling and scoop pass to Jaylen Clark will not be forgotten🫡

Biggest thing that’s stuck out to me through this game (didn’t watch last game) has been the ball movement and overall decisiveness in the moment as well as pace of play Lot of secondary break opportunities with an aggressive mindset in getting to those opportunities

Two turnovers trying to inbound the ball is why we play preseason

The past couple preseasons, Bryn Forbes shot like prime Klay Thompson and Josh Minot looked to have taken a massive leap Forbes would shoot 30% in the regular season and Minot played 6 minutes a game and was un-impactful I don’t really take much stock in preseason anymore

The biggest X-Factor for me in determining the playoff seed for the Wolves is Julius Randle Will he play at the high level he did when he returned from injury + playoffs? If yes (which I think he will), they’ll be seeded 2-4 If not, they’ll be battling to avoid the play-in
