The African Refugee Women's Network (ARW-network) is a platform that brings together all refugee women, refugee girls and migrants to amplify their voices.

ARWNET Ethiopia, Kenya and Uganda had the privilege of being part of refugee-led regional round tables advancing the Global Compact on Refugees at the High-Level Officials Meeting from October 29 to 30.


When she is happy, even very tired, she brings joy to her environment. She is the woman of ARWNET.


African Refugee Women Led Network (ARWNET) will be in training on women leadership from October 20 to 24 to equip them with the knowledge that will enable them to lead, make an impact, and enhance the recognition of women's leadership at all level.

Oxfam International, in collaboration with Independent Diplomat, has announced the selection of two actives leaders from ARWNET, to lead a series of regional roundtables aimed at addressing the challenges faced by refugee communities. The roundtables will focus on localization.

Appreciate the efforts of OXFAM International, Amnesty International and the African Refugee Women Led Network in conducting the 5-day advocacy training in Kenya/Nairobi.


ARWNET was supported by OXFAM international for the capacity building of 32 women from 16 African countries on advocacy from April 28 to May 02 in Nairobi, Kenya at the DoubleTree by Hilton hotel.
