Absolutely loathe the tiny-paragraph, nothing-of-substance way in which BBC commentary gets written. "That's a big deal" — just completely vacuous.
Though the Sentinelese are considered the world’s last contacted tribe there are reports from fishermen near the island that Filipina nursing staff are sometimes spotted along the shoreline with tribespeople. One fisherman even allegedly spotted a primitive thatched Jollibee’s
what is it with Filipinos and appearing in preposterous places? I swear we’re gonna find uncontacted tribes in the Amazon that have a Filipino minority staffing their nursing homes
Battery farming foreigners in some of the best real estate in the planet, at taxpayers expense. Truly rothbards and hayeks dream.
Prescott was right Demolish this sick filth
John Prescott's Pathfinder initiative was good, actually, and eventually we'll probably have to do something similar. theguardian.com/society/2007/n…

Hard to explain why, but “He has gone to a place where he will join other people who don’t tell the truth” might be the most African thing a British politician has ever said. You could easily imagine Mobutu explaining the disappearance of a former lieutenant in the same way.
🚨 WATCH: Kemi Badenoch reacts to Robert Jenrick joining Reform UK “If you look at his tweets, it was always about him, it wasn’t about us. You would rarely see the word Conservative mentioned” “He has gone to a place where he will join other people who don’t tell the truth”
🚨 NEW: The Lib Dems reveal Robert Jenrick as a "traitor"
For the first century of the policing in Britain we were a substantially armed citizenry. There were basically no gun laws until 1920. It was one of the most crime-free large societies ever to have existed. A sensible people would devote endless study to this lost society.
How does an unarmed police enforce the law against a substantially armed citizenry? You can't have armed military boots permanently on the ground to support them. I think Peelian police values are the best in the world but in reality I'm not sure how it works in the USA.

Hi @JanetEastham Firstly, its Dr Asif Munaf. Put some respect on a man's name. Incorrectly addressing someone - the first mistake rookie journalists make, tut tut. Secondly, I do thank you for your investigative passion. The fact that you write for the trashy Telegraph means…
One of the most underreported scandals in the UK. The state is importing cheap labour that makes life-changing decisions in to the NHS.
Really hard to overstate the damage the IMGwave has caused to the NHS. Have heard from, and been sent, a lot of messages like this from doctors around the country. Foreign-trained doctors, often with poor English, are having to be handheld by junior British doctors.
Much of this is in line with the story broken by the BMJ last week about a Birmingham hospital funnelling taxpayer money through a scheme to recruit doctors exclusively from Pakistan.
‘I accept having colleagues who can’t speak English or use Microsoft Word is the price to pay for an affordable healthcare system […] but this is essentially state sanctioned murder of the unborn,’ one doctor tells me.
GPST (General Practice Specialty Training) schemes in particular have been a popular route that allow foreign doctors to get a foothold in the country as barriers to entry are relatively low. As they’re often much older than their UK counterparts, that tends to cause issues too.

Two other doctors get in touch. Ethnic cliques have begun to form as doctors communicate almost exclusively in foreign languages with each other and nurses on wards, and opaque recruitment drives see new recruits concentrated from particular regions.
POV: you are Robert Jenrick
I have sacked Robert Jenrick from the Shadow Cabinet, removed the whip and suspended his party membership with immediate effect. I was presented with clear, irrefutable evidence that he was plotting in secret to defect in a way designed to be as damaging as possible to his…
Regulation is a white collar jobs program
ps. the 0.3% growth in overall GDP in November was helped by a rebound in car production after the JLR cyber-attack in September, which offset another large fall in construction. More encouragingly, services also rose 0.3%, despite the pre-Budget jitters. Ironically, the largest…
We are fools to expect gratitude from such people. Intimated by the splendour of what we have built, their only hope of compensation - especially within a system that coddles them - is to act out ethnic grudges against us.
