Cascade Methodology is a replacement for Agile in the age of AI. I’m excited to say there is now an official GitHub repo to discuss and ask questions, and where I’ll be working on a book out in the open. If the methodology interests you, starring the repo is much appreciated! 👇

We don't talk enough about how about bad the three-fingered undo gesture on iPad is. It wouldn't be so bad if it didn't also register as a swipe gesture.

They git cherry-picked an embryo. apple.news/AsLSrVPR1QLe2l…

Crazy to me that all the AI companies got together and decided let's not show any visual feedback when speech is being recognized (when it works).

Muting "it's over" and "it's so over"

. @Budget just charged me $450 for a cleaning fee. The reason? Smoke smell. Does anyone who rode in my car smoke? No. I can't wait to dispute a **smell.** My entire legal argument can be summed up as: "He who smelt it, dealt it."

Got scolded by @Delta agent for not knowing that they use the term “Sky Priority” to mean two VERY different things. Seems like a you problem, not me, guy.

Clippy crawled so Siri could stumble so chatGPT could walk.

Can't believe this, but using @cursor_ai so much I'm feeling very inefficient in @figma . Not talking about generative UI, I mean every time I reach for the toolbar to change a color for I'm wishing for autocomplete. So many repetitive tasks, begging for [tab].

Is there a bigger lie than "Remember this device"?

I’m making an iOS word game I’ve wanted to make for seven years. It’s turning out so different from my initial designs—almost entirely because of what I’ve learned from playing games by @helvetica.

Found this tool while prepping for a talk on breadboarding. I want this to be added to mermaid: depict.page

Please: AI in Terminal that translates natural language to git/terminal commands.

I think I might finally get myself a minidisc player.

Dreamt that all my em dashes got turned into en dashes.

Discovered my water softener was overflowing and flooding my mechanical room. I couldn't get the water to stop flowing into it, so I pulled up @ChatGPTapp, took a picture and asked how to stop the water. It worked.

A #figma tip I just stumbled upon: Cmd/Ctrl + Click on a layer to display a contextual layer menu so you can get to blocked layers.

I just saw the most insane thing. A duck with an egg hanging from its mouth flew right past me while I was walking my dog in our neighborhood. This is approximately what it looked like…

I enjoy poetic, descriptive prose in novels when it’s narration or inner dialogue, but can’t handle when it leaks into real dialogue: “Can you go to the store? The one where dust motes dance in the sun and the patrons’ weathered hands tell a thousand stories?” she asked. “Ok.”
