I don’t have a problem with this concept. It’s used successfully in many other countries. But… You only get one chance to make a first impression. Anyone with a modicum of common sense would flag these as not close to being ready for prime time (1/2)
I’ve seen ratings for @santaanitapark-based runners. They’re comical. I could cite dozens of examples, but system that has El Potente 5 points above Nysos is badly flawed. In other countries, body of handicappers sets ratings. Whatever’s being fed into data here needs adjusting
