Turkey helping to keep our @NHS heroes safe and our Corona virus death rates down. Where are all you brexit voting xenophobic pricks now. The @Conservatives are always telling us we're one of the richest countries in the world. Dont make me fucking laugh we're an embarrassment
Turkey has sent a military plane full of medical supplies to the UK to help the country fight the #coronavirus pandemic. For the latest on COVID19 visit 👉 trib.al/VzWMlLI
While this is funny, don't be distracted. She said poverty isn't the government's responsibility, publicly supported the death penalty, and supported a No-Deal Brexit which UK medics said would make us vulnerable to pandemics. Maths is NOT the main things wrong with Priti Patel!
It is quite frankly insulting to imply frontline staff are wasting PPE. There are horrific stories of NHS staff and care workers not having the equipment they need to keep them safe. The Government must act to ensure supplies are delivered. theguardian.com/society/2020/a…
Testing as early as January, quick decision to lock down, testing and quarantining anyone arriving in the country - and now, just one death and potential to ease lockdown fairly soon New Zealand making the UK look like amateurs metro.co.uk/2020/04/10/new… via @MetroUK

New Zealand preparing to end lockdown after success in coronavirus battle
'We have what we need to win this marathon. You have stayed calm, you've been strong, you've saved lives, and now we need to keep going.'
And when we come out of this we’re tasked with rebuilding our economy, led by a government that has cynically, pointlessly & wilfully set fire to decades of world class trade policies & agreements. On current form, we’re unlikely to see much honest reporting of this simple fact.
I say this cautiously but I think the tone of British reports about deaths & lockdown in Italy a month ago was more alarmed & urgent than reports of more daily deaths & a less effective lockdown here now. It’s deeply disturbing & I don’t understand it. Is it just partisan bias?
The question and @MattHancock reply should be played again and again. It is one of the worst things I have ever seen in a press conference. So happy to say how much @BorisJohnson thanks the NHS. But dead NHS staff ... ‘one for you Ruth,’ who doesn’t answer either
“Don’t make this political” is the cowards way of apologising for electing a fucking idiot
Our media is remarkably calm as nearly 1000 Britons die every day, when they didn't need to. 🤷🏽♂️
No, the BBC is not leading with the fact that the Government's mismanagement of this crisis will lead to thousands of unnecessary deaths - nor that thousands of doctors still don't have protective clothing - but with what that nice Mr Johnson's Dad says.
Flight IB3166 from Madrid has just landed at Heathrow - the passengers will shortly be walking out of the airport without any meaningful checks and travelling across the UK. Heathrow says it is following government guidelines. We must therefore blame the government.
The strongest minute of current affairs TV since #Corona19 started. Well done @maitlis and all at #Newsnight
Anybody asked the authorities why flights from USA (no social distancing on planes) are still coming into Heathrow and passengers are just slipping off into the transport system? Yet people here are going to be banged up if a few of them are fannying about in a park?
So, I’ve often wondered why does the 5th richest #economy in the world actually need #charities ? Asking for the 99%
I know it's not cool to be calling people stupid, I know, I get it but also if you're going to vote against your own interests then it is stupid and there's no escaping that fact.
I am, for my sins, more familiar with Brexit-based self-delusion than most but even I'm surprised to see people who argued that the EU had too much power over national policy-making reduced to claiming that we are right to leave because it lacks power over national policy-making.
Clarity for garages, MOT centres and vehicle owners around MOT exemption. lnkd.in/dB44hhR
The 76-day Wuhan lockdown has officially been lifted. This was the epicentre of the virus and now life is returning to normal. It may be hard to imagine now, but the same will happen to us- we all just need to sit tight and we will get through this.
