Do you ever get so excited and into teaching your class that you can’t catch your breath and your voice cracks and you sound like you’re dying? Yeah that was me today. I’m out of shape 🙈
It really gets me how parents throw an absolute fit when their kid doesn’t move up a level. This is not like grades in school! Just because you improved doesn’t mean you move up every single year! We don’t have 12 levels lol
Yet another track casualty...this one is out for the summer and maybe fall too. I just want to yell at these dumbass coaches that allow their kids to consistently push past injury.
Me: why can’t these kids remember their choreography?! Also me: forgets my own choreography as I’m teaching it
We’ve had this recital dance done for 4 months, why do you continue to not take any corrections and f up the same part over and over again. Can’t wait for this to be over
This comp has the dreariest stage I’ve ever seen. Literally no lights. It’s like we’re dancing in a prison basement
I’m all for doing other activities outside of dance but I HATE TRACK. I’ve had several kids already tight in their hamstrings end up hurting themselves, and then they can’t dance.

Went to a comp w/ normal schedule and there were SO MANY people without masks 🤢 I’ll go back to block schedule thx
Next comp is 6 days away and still no schedule, when it’s been full for months. This is ridiculous. I feel for my parents who might have to figure out taking off work at the last minute.
It says something when EVERY SINGLE dance in the top ten was the same style...
Ok so judges are harsher the first day of block scheduling, AND the smaller schools go the first day while the larger schools the last day. Who do you think actually places? I hate this
How many times must I tell my class to go to the bathroom BEFORE CLASS?! EVERY WEEK at least one wants to go during class, who didn’t go beforehand. “Well I didn’t need to go then” These are middle school age kids, not littles. 😡
