M4 Mac Mini AI Cluster Uses @exolabs with Thunderbolt 5 interconnect (80Gbps) to run LLMs distributed across 4 M4 Pro Mac Minis. The cluster is small (iPhone for reference). It’s running Nemotron 70B at 8 tok/sec and scales to Llama 405B (benchmarks soon).

One big reason devs got into trouble with microservices was that their logical boundaries were off. Going back to a single deployment unit does help a bit, but doesn't change the logical *modularity* that was problematic in the first place. So, no "modular monolith" after all.
The issue is exclusively with the term but not the associated idea, right? Do you have any alternative term for a monolithic (runtime) application that incorporates multiple modules (or bounded contexts)? I think it was coined to separate it from a monolithic "Big Ball of Mud".
