Semi-final version of Chapter 1 of the 2nd edition of Precalculus is done. It is now undergoing accuracy checking and copy-editing.


For the 2nd edition of Precalculus: Instead of being slanted, parentheses in italic font are now upright, as required for fine typesetting.


Exercises, Problems, Questions, and Worked-Out Solutions to Odd-Numbered Exercises will be right justified in 2nd edition of Precalculus.


Marginal notes in the 2nd edition of Precalculus will be is an elegant true italic font rather than in a slanted font.


Stony Brook University has adopted my Precalculus book starting Fall 2012.


Examples in 2nd edition of Precalculus will be typeset in the same type size as regular text, not in a smaller size as in the 1st edition.
