I am very excited to announce that a fully funded PhD position is available in my group: Topic: Metabolic trade-offs and regulatory changes as drivers of metabolic cross-feeding interactions in microbial communities Deadline: 28.07.22 More info: shorturl.at/jmMP5
Today, @SaheliS95 from @BEELab_IISc visited us @UniOsnabrueck to give a great talk about predator-prey coevolution. This is amazing work Saheli. Thanks for your visit and keep up the good work. Looking forward to seeing this interesting work published.
Today we will have @SaheliS95 from @BEELab_IISc talking about her work on coevolving bacterial predator-prey communities at #MEEmeeting. Look forward to inputs from all at the workshop. @Siderophile @EvolvedBiofilm @nonresidentdesi @TanushJagdish
Special issue alert! @SWielgoss and I are editing a special issue in the @Genes_MDPI. The theme of this special issue will be "Genetic basis of sociality in diverse microbial communities". Contributions from theory, field and experimental data are welcome mdpi.com/journal/genes/…
This has to be one of the coolest papers in recent times. The paper talks about the evolution of coexisting RNA-replicator diversity (authors call it coexistence) in a long-term RNA evolution experiment. nature.com/articles/s4146…
It's always nice to revisit the classics. Looking forward to going back to the basics with the Luria Delbruck paper in our journal club, tomorrow! @BEELab_IISc @iamsamayp
Looking forward to discussing this paper: pnas.org/content/119/6/… in today's lab meeting!
@BEELab_IISc do not miss this opportunity. @bkoskella ‘s work on host-pathogen interactions, microbiomes is inspiring!
For our last #MiCoCo for the winter semester @bkoskella from the Department of Integrative Biology, University of California, Berkeley USA will talk about "Friends, Foes, and Phages in the Phyllosphere". 🗓️Feb 9 🕓4 pm ➡️jsmc-phd.de/event-calendar…
