Upper School students in Mr. Hillman's World History class researched Mesoamerican ball players before making their own out of clay in the art studio. Students joined art teachers Mrs. Reynolds and Mr. Wolfe to fire the pieces in an outdoor kiln that reached 500 degrees.

Congratulations to senior Lucia S. for advancing to the CHSAA 2A State XC Race! The Kodiaks competed last week in the 2A Regional 5000m meet. Lucia came in 15th, earning her a spot at state. Cheer her on at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, at the Norris Penrose Event Center.
A warm thank you to the Dobnikar family for a monetary donation to kick off the inaugural Kodiak Senior Banner Project. The 20 banners will be on display in Tutt Field House until May when the Class of 2024 athletes will be presented with their banner at the US Awards Ceremony.
Several CSS families took part in fly fishing last weekend during our first ExEd family program, which helps support Experiential Education scholarships and programming at CSS. They took a break to watch the solar eclipse. Stay tuned for upcoming ExEd family programs. #FlyFishing
