Celebrating Success - Four pupils from the Computing Department attended the first EK & Strathaven ESports Tournament in @sasbhighschool today. Two of our pupils reached the final and Ross emerged victorious and received a winner's certificate. #WeAreCalderglen

5B Admin were putting into practice what they have been learning about Effective Teams by taking on the spaghetti and marshmallows tower challenge!
1P6 were peer assessing the PowerPoints we have been working on to showcase what we have learned in the Entrepreneurs topic. We will be discussing the feedback they have received and using it to identify our next steps during tomorrow's period.

Our Higher Admin and Accounting pupils have had an excellent morning at @DYWScot Step Into Finance event getting to speak to a number of employers and learning about career opportunities in the Finance industry. 💰
Ms Marshall joined the S2 Pupil Parliament today at our monthly meeting to get their opinions on the use of mobile phones in Calderglen. We were both impressed with the contributions made from all members! Well done all in representing your peers so well today. 🤩👏🏼

2P8 have been exploring the different tools available on Canva with Mr Strachan this morning to create new album artwork for their favourite artists. Lots of creativity on display - well done, 2P8!
Congratulations to one of our senior #businessmanagement pupils who is employee of the month in his job @McDonalds he was also awarded a branded charger for his efforts. Great examples of non-financial incentives for employees whilst also promoting their corporate culture as well

Today we say goodbye to Mrs Presley 😭. She has been an exceptional teacher in Calderglen for 21 years and we are devastated to see her go. @CHS_Chryston are gaining a total superstar! We will all miss you greatly!! ❤️❤️❤️
