Keeping EDs open at all costs brings a heavy burden as more famiky doctors leave the North exhausted. @ocfp has solutions that will take the pressure off and retain these valiant docs.

Immediate action needed to support Northern Ontario family doctors working to keep emergency rooms on the brink of closure open. The OCFP, @SGFP4FamilyDocs and @OntariosDoctors are calling for a rapid response to urgently support family docs and patients. bit.ly/3OrSufE

Great discussion again on the @TheAgenda. A study looking at early (2020) pandemic impact on mental health. Encouraging that that society as a whole was resilient. Mental health service requests & need in 2022-2023 continues to climb. Future studies will need to explore why.

We have record numbers of people asking for therapy, record levels of burnout, excess deaths leading to more people grieving, Kids Help Phone seeing 300% more people, long covid numbers spiralling, an overdose crisis and more. I think it is difficult to say there is no crisis

Thank you, Gord, for sharing your story. Family physicians play such an important role in the health care system. No one should have to live #lifewithoutadoctor.

"My family doctor works miracles, I can't imagine life without a doctor”. Gord's story is one of many showing the impact family doctors have on their patients' lives. Let's ensure no Ontarian has to live a #Lifewithoutadoctor.

This is what happens when CYMH agencies are funded to provide short-term services. Both agencies and families know that closing/reopening a file is inefficient and exhausting. Builidng a good rapport with clinicians is key to a child's progress. Change is needed #KidsCantWait
