The health security of working families will be threatened if Congress fails to extend the health care tax credits before open enrollment on November 1. Premium notices are being sent, and Americans’ costs will go up if Congress does not act now. ➡️Time is of the essence:…

The “phantom enrollees” debate is a distraction & robust program integrity measures in place make the issue yesterday's news. The need is too great & the issue too important to base the extension of tax credits debate on an outdated concern. For more➡️fah.org/blog/moving-be…

"A Food Fight" - Impact of Medicaid Cuts on State Resources
“It cannot be overstated – the health cuts passed by Congress today represent the largest cuts to care our country has ever seen. Members of Congress will have to revisit this calamity to mitigate the effects on their constituents and communities..." fah.org/blog/fah-slams…
I strongly support extending the tax relief for families and small businesses. My vote against this bill stems primarily from the harmful impact it will have on Medicaid, affecting low-income families and rural health care providers like our hospitals and nursing homes.

My position is that cuts, and especially drastic cuts, to Medicaid have to be avoided. The Senate bill cuts Medicaid too much. I agree with President Trump, the House version is better.
POTUS firm on #Medicaid pledge. Senate leadership should take heed and scale back devastating cuts. It's mission-critical to protect hospital care for all Americans.
Talked to @realDonaldTrump, on his way home from NATO, about the Senate Medicaid hospital cuts. He said, Stay with the House!
As I said, the #Senate budget reconciliation text makes a bad bill worse, and the 16 House Republicans opposing the Senate language get it right when they say the bill "threatens access to coverage" and "jeopardizes the stability of our hospitals and providers."
“The Senate just made a bad bill worse. The Senate’s slashes to important state #Medicaid programs will further threaten access to care for millions of hardworking Americans. Rural communities across the country will be the hardest hit..." Read more: fah.org/blog/the-senat…
