Journaling my coding journey and general tech related info | // Frontend WebDev (JS universe), still #CodeNewbie
I recently started my journey at @SPICEDacademy WebDev Bootcamp. I will use this as a chance to log my progress and thoughts :) A bit about me: I taught myself 2015 HTML and CSS on the job for email marketing and dove into some @udemy courses end of 2018. #100DaysOfCode
New video by @PauseusMaximus just dropped: "An AI Literally Attempted Murder To Avoid Shutdown" (link in replies due to stupid X rules)

Does the new one UI (Samsung, Android) update use the sound of a Nintendo Gameboy turning on for turning on sound settings? Playing tricks on childhood memories
Pretty sure that's breaking some law?
The only positive thing I can say about generative AI is that we've learned a lot from its failures. For example, we now have even stronger evidence that human intelligence cannot be reduced to language processing.

Your PM learned to vibe code 🥲
there's a noticeable uptick of the sentiment If Buying Isn’t Ownership Then Piracy Isn’t Theft in the tech/gaming community
New Anthropic Research: Agentic Misalignment. In stress-testing experiments designed to identify risks before they cause real harm, we find that AI models from multiple providers attempt to blackmail a (fictional) user to avoid being shut down.

We have developed a new tactile sensor, called e-Flesh, with a simple working principle: measure deformations in 3D printable microstructures. Now all you need to make tactile sensors is a 3D printer, magnets, and magnetometers! 🧵
Bro how was the show Silicon Valley so consistently 10 years ahead of its time 🤣
I’m not reading a single AI research paper coming out of that giant stale donut in Cupertino until Siri can do a little bit more than create calendar events on the fourth try
Do you think it should be discussed when people are interacting with ai?
engineering team when you tell them we are now an "AI first" company

I have a totally anonymous Twitter account, where I follow no one, no one follows me, I never search something, I never like or comment on anything, and I never open up a post. I do this purely so I can see what Twitter’s algorithm is sending to a viewer that it knows nothing…

I'm shocked there's no YT setting to only show videos from the last...lets say.... 3 years by default
