An uncomfortable truth about working with high performers: They have the same high standards of you as they do themselves. And you may not be ready for that. But hang in there, you will adjust. And your personal growth and development will be the envy of your future self.
You’ll reach summits but never arrive. For me, that’s the best mindset to travel through life. It helps to enjoy moments and understand there’s more to see, to learn, other perspectives, new mistakes and, hopefully, more people to be useful to. Have a great day everyone!

The best thing I’ve learned about social media in the last 3 years is the number of followers someone has does not correlate to how knowledgeable or trustworthy they are.
When you waste time on thankless tasks, you're at risk of feeling under-appreciated. To fix it, try this: Stop doing it. Then see who notices. If no one does, you have your answer. If your boss won't help, your well-being is your responsibility. Don't be afraid to take it.
Gratitude is vital to your career. Anytime you accomplish something, no matter how small, stop and thank anyone who helped. Why it matters: It builds a network who’s excited to keep opening doors for you. And it compounds your success over the course of your career.
This quote bothers me: “It’s none of my business what you think of me.” Because it takes you off the hook for poor behaviour. We should care about the affect we have on people we’re close to. Balancing care and concern with living in your integrity is a key to a good life.
65% of people feel their team is underperforming. And it causes confusion, frustration, and anxiety. If it prolongs, it can lead to burnout or even termination as senior leaders search for causes. But there's 3 things you can do to change that:
