All around social media at the moment, I am seeing lots of comments such as, 'If we're vaccinated, why do we need to wear masks?' This shows a huge lack of understanding and something that really needs to be addressed. We'll be needing masks for some time.
My favourite thing is people saying the Vic pandemic laws are an 'overreach' but say nothing about the Indue card
Pretty sure the card goes in its entirety but there's a lot more political mileage to focus on age pension v new start
Labor has said they will abolish it for everyone. However it’s the pensioners particularly in Qld who vote for PHON and Clive Palmer who need to know what’s in store. Most pensioners have no idea and they can swing the election.
Read this Johny. Then retweet the heck out of it! thevogfiles.com/pensions-the-c…
The irony of the #MelbourneProtests Not one arrest and no impact of @VictoriaPolice on the march. Tell me again how Victoria is a fascist state?
Definitely voting Labor over this.
‘When you change the government, you change the country.’ Paul Keating famously said. The Melbourne protests have made this abundantly clear. #auspol
Dear @abcnews, what’s the point in sending out a camera crew to an Albanese media conference, and then cutting him off after one minute and mid-sentence? Your audience might be interested in what he has to say. #AUSPOL
Message to the @InsidersABC panel: just because @ScottMorrisonMP runs a lying scare campaign against @AlboMP and Labor doesn’t mean most voters will believe him any more. The latest polling suggests the exact opposite.
I’ve painted two pix in the last year & 1/2 of @AlboMP for the Archibald & Moran prizes. It was easy because he is a real person of character & integrity anchored in @AustralianLabor history & it’s ethos. I wouldn’t even know where to begin with @ScottMorrisonMP #auspol
Hey, #QandA I have a great idea. Since you're spending so much time on what #PaulKeating said, why not invite him on your show & let him answer the questions? Pretty radical huh?
So @abcnews has reached the stage where it cuts away from Paul Keating mid-way through the answer to a question so we can hear the inner thoughts & comments of three nobodies. Yeah, that’s clever.
That is the most ridiculous, spurious logic I've heard in a long time. If we're going to have deaths anyway, why mitigate any risks? Remove industrial safety measures, don't bother getting immunised against anything, etc. Only the selfish want us to open up earlier than is safe.
I'm filling in for @leighsales tonight on @abc730 and, in the wake of the federal government's electric vehicle policy news today, will be interviewing NSW Treasurer and Environment Minister @Matt_KeanMP - who recently unveiled a comprehensive EV strategy
When a man like this studied hard and looked after his sick mother by himself and lived in a council house. he has lived a life like most people. and he has shown he has compassion for others. he has my vote.
