Santa Squid gives his rather large belly a pat, allowing a chuckle to spill from his large, hidden smile. "I'm takin' gift requests if you want to tell 'ol Santa what ya want for Squidmas! If you've been good, you just might get it!"
"HO HO HO! MERRRRRRY SQUIDMAS! ...is what I'd say if it WAS Squidmas, but it ain't! I'm decidin' to do things a little different this year, heh heh! I'm gonna be out and about in the Square, a little bit of a break before Squidmas comes 'round! Don't forget t' be good, hoh!"
"...figure I could go an' ask for help, but then I feel like I'd be stealin' street cred. Is that what the young squiddos are saying?"
Cuttlefish has been caught up in his cabin for quite some time, now. Seems he's been practicing his rapping skills. "...Showin' these Octarians that I've got the skills, to get through the Turf and pay the bills... ...feh, that ain't soundin' too fresh."
...He can't wait anymore, he needs to know! "Come in, @HeroOfInkopolis, come in! Are you alright, bucko?!?"
...He can't radio, not now. Worry courses through every cuttle in him.

At least Cuttlefish has one thing Tartar doesn't have. He has love for his soldiers. Nothing artifical. Pure, unfiltered love. The kind you can only get from spending years with those close to your heart. Something Tartar doesn't have. "...hang tight, squiddos."
At the very least, he was truly safe in the Valley. It didn't do him much good to just sit down here, though. He's also certain he can't be sanitized, considering he hardly outputs ink anymore. How does it flow when there's hardly a circulation?
He was so close. He's failed not only as a captain, but as a grandfather, too.
