The only way dogs could be better is if they laughed at the dumb jokes we tell them in silly voices when no one else is around.
Has there ever been a time where so many DJs couldn't identify a good record on their own?

Hobbies include catching someone in a Wu-Tang shirt at a party, playing any non-obvious Wu song then watching them have no idea a Wu-Tang song is playing.
Forever salty that Little Brother buried their "Electric Relaxation" aka "Shake It" as an album cut on an Okayplayer compilation that didn't get any shine.
Now that everything is a day party, y’all can probably stop putting ‘day party’ in your event’s name.
I'm pro-streaming and video and advancing the culture, but acting like the future of DJing is spending significant time, money & energy to create videos that are virtually impossible to monetize, let alone eat from, is crazy. The economics don't make sense outside of hobbyists.
The hook to Lil Kim’s “Drugs” is some Biggie’s best work & forever underrated. The beat is perfection too.
The DJ branding to actual DJing balance is totally fucked. Should probably learn to mix songs before you get a logo.
Kendrick rode Drake's corpse all the way to the Super Bowl, then danced on his grave with damn near the whole stadium singing along. The wildest part is that Drake begged for it all. What a legendary fuck around & find out moment. Craziest hip hop beef of all-time. "Game over"
But it's so weird that people will attend a themed event and wonder why the DJ is sticking to the theme of the event.
If any, not many.
What percentage of themed DJ parties actually stick to the theme the whole night?

The trend of fake parties for the internet with everyone pretending to have more fun that they really are is hella creepy. Do people not realize it's obvious when they're acting extra hype for the camera? Especially when they're faking like they know the words to the song lol
Sitting next to a table of event/nightlife people talking ideas & all five of them are just rehashing the same old generic stuff - Galentine's Day, disco night, etc. It's been almost an hour & nothing close to a single original/interesting idea. Of course the industry is dying.
Weirdos celebrate other people’s demise.
No idea why, but apple juice on a plane is extra delicious.
