no bail in of prefs and all opco and holdco bonds reinstated. Good for the financial system. Only issue is the 100bp spread wideneing out. Shouldn't be an issue given the expected gov't assurances and backstops. Not a done deal yet but good direction and hope details resolved

UBS offers to buy Credit Suisse for up to $1bn ft.com/content/ec4be7… Proposed deal looks good for CS creditors in both the opco and holdco recognizing the significant value at both levels. Also positive for financial system as it preserves the capital structure.

Venture backed companies had a chance to see which VCs stood by ready to assist with payroll and other short term cash needs with zero interest loans and which hemmed and hawed or claimed their GPs didn’t have capital like that guy from a multi- billion quant shop.
