Hotels > @Airbnb, a horror story 🫠 It’s 2:30am in London. Flight delayed 3 hours. Raining. I message our host that we’re going to miss the check in window. There’s a fee. Weird since it’s self check in, but ok We get to the airbnb and the lockbox doesn’t work. Rain, rain..
Imagine if Hamas militants repeatedly filmed themselves playing with the toys of Israeli children they had killed, maimed, driven from their homes and traumatised. It would be front and centre in the evidence of how monstrous they are.
If you're more mad about the college campus protests against mass graves than against the mass graves themselves you should probably take a long hard look at yourself in the mirror.
LIVE: Today, I am offering two amendments. 1. NO unfettered military aid for Netanyahu’s war on the Palestinian people. 2. Restore funding for UNRWA so that children in Gaza don’t starve.
While we work to prevent further escalation between Israel and Iran, we cannot lose sight of the unprecedented humanitarian disaster taking place in Gaza. We must not look away.
The ICJ has just ruled that the evidence is "sufficient to conclude that at least some" of South Africa's claims of genocide against Israel "are plausible". They can't adjudicate at this stage on whether it is genocide. They have concluded there's a plausible risk of genocide.
I was quoted at the ICJ. Gratefully for having our voices aplified. "I want you to look in the mirror and ask: where was I when Gaza was going through a genocide?"
Notice the half hearted applause here? The public simply don't understand the scale of the coming climate collapse. Dear @JustStop_Oil @XRebellionUK please refocus on demanding MEDIA TELL THE FULL TRUTH or we are going to lose. Most of the public don't understand why people…

Cameron?! Oh FFS.
Marching and calling for a ceasefire and peace so that more innocent children don’t get killed is not really the definition of a hate march.
I agree with the Prime Minister. It is entirely unacceptable to desecrate Armistice Day with a hate march through London. If it goes ahead there is an obvious risk of serious public disorder, violence and damage as well as giving offence to millions of decent British people. 1/2
Today I can share I'm challenging the PM on the legality of abandoning key Net Zero commitments I believe the timeline for the UK to meet Net Zero cannot be changed at will by the PM – I contend that he does not have the legal right The ball is in your court , Prime Minister

I hope my colleagues in Washington are breathing in the air and finally waking up to the reality that if we don’t act boldly to address climate change we won’t be leaving much of a planet for future generations.
I am quite certain that most people still have little idea what a serious emergency we're now in. Based on their actions, this apparently includes President Biden and his team. Yes, Climate Twitter, a lot of you do know. But a large majority in the US and worldwide, do not

Sometimes I get these moments where I just want to cry. Most people are oblivious to what is happening. It’s a threat to their lives and mine. My safety too. Its personal as much as anything else. It’s like being a passenger in a car driven by a drunk driver - and no one cares.

If we ended industrial animal agriculture, there'd suddenly be more than enough food for everyone, we'd essentially end animal cruelty, no one would die, and we'd take a huge bite out of the climate and ecological emergency. We could do this basically overnight.
