Last night Shohei Ohtani had a 3-HR game at the plate. He also had a scoreless outing w/ 10+ Ks on the mound. No one else in MLB history has done both over the course of his entire career - whether in the regular season or postseason, whether in the same game or different games.
Shohei Ohtani homered. Again. Dead center off Trevor Megill. He has three home runs tonight. He threw 6.1 shutout innings and struck out 10. This is one of the greatest individual performances in posteason history.
Update: It is the fourth inning. Shohei Ohtani has thrown four shutout innings, allowed one hit, struck out six and hit a pair of home runs. The first went 446 feet. The most recent, to give the Dodgers a 4-0 lead, went 469 feet and nearly left the stadium. The best. Period.
