Esta en llamas la Amazonia 😨

friendly reminder that the Amazon forest has been on fire for 20+ days now, wildlife is being killed and half of brazil is being covered in such a thick layer of dust and ashes that São Paulo got dark at 3pm yesterday bc sunlight couldn’t breach through

Playing with #paperscript JS is fun.. Having lots of ideas.

My 3 year old just asked if he can watch "Magi Goose Bus". I said I couldn't find that exact thing so he said, "Mama, on Etfix!"

I have an essential android and it keeps messing up and not grabbing the radio signal. Every time my phone shuts off I have to root it and install a new ROM. I have had to learn so much about Android development.

My sister-in-law is still looking for her first developer job. Check her out and reach out to her if you are hiring.

I have a friend who is stuck in retail and wants to move into development. I'm trying to help any way I can. What are some useful resources, courses & websites for learning? Please RT for reach. I'll start with @2ndCareerDevs by @kyleshevlin for insights and motivation 👇

My kid was getting frustrated because he has 2 types of Legos that wouldn't fit together. I told him I understood. It's exactly how I get when code looks like it should fit, but doesn't. You try to force it, but eventually end up tearing it all up and starting over. #MomsCanCode

Oh this is me. 😂

I alternate between two states throughout the day: 1. I AM A GENIUS AND CAN BUILD ANYTHING 2. Why in the world did I think this code would work

Just moved in to my new house. So excited! Still lots of unpacking to do, but for now the kiddo and hubby are asleep so I need to get some coding in.

A friend of mine is looking for a new gig! She's a great dev and all-around awesome person 🥰 She's a mid-level #React developer looking for fullstack / frontend React work. Remote preferred. Pls DM me if you know of something and I can put you in touch! 💕 RT for reach! 💕

My adorable niece. She will probably be a great coder.

Trying to watch @willsentance JavaScript the Hard Parts on @FrontendMasters and my 3 month old won't stop trying to "talk/babble" at him. She apparently finds him and JavaScript very entertaining.

Who's hiring creative developers in NYC? Asking for a friend (@Rumyra) She's a SUPER TALENTED JavaScript engineer (and technical writer) who is really into experimentation with code, web audio, and making beautiful web experiences!

A McDonald's play place was doing face paintings yesterday and my 2 year old requested a snail. The girl was like "oh, never heard that before. Let's do it!" He was very happy.

I'm mentoring with @udacity and a student is on a project using Jasmine (JavaScript). I told them it's perfectly normal to need help and to ask questions. The project that they are doing can be a bit testy.
