More problems with my university regarding my dyslexia. We are tarnished with a brush and given extremely vague 'help/advice' to a very broad and complex learning disability. Dyslexia affects many people in many different ways, there is no one way to deal with the disability.
In Canada, there's different legislation for support at post-secondary, dyslexia must by severe (below 15th percentile) - a functional limitation. Students that receive accommodations at high school do not necessary receive the same at post-secondary: IEP does not transfer up.
