After about 3 days of work, I got DLSS to work on NVK (the open source NVIDIA driver in Mesa)! 🎉 DLSS is essentially just some launched Cuda kernels, so it was just a matter of implementing the VK_NVX_binary_import and VK_NVX_image_view_handle extensions. 1/5

Here is me adding and baking a cubemap in my game in eight seconds. And this "waste of time and effort" is how my environments and models receive proper reflections. That's like arguing that shadows or lights are a waste of time.

The day bindless comes to WebGPU is the day I might actually be able to implement it in my engine In fact I've heard it's work in progress so who knows, maybe Kaleidoscope will run on the web sooner than we think!
