Pretty typical imo

This dude called me a "godless liberal," because I pressed him on why he was doing business with members of this broader crew who were far more open about these beliefs far earlier (The Majesty's Men), and now he wants to act like he knew what was up with CN.

Esos vatos parecen querer volver a lo que precisamente la escolástica romana hizo: Alejar a la gente de la claridad de la Escritura y formar una nueva élite de “intelectuales” que solamente están sumidos en soliloquios ininteligibles entre ellos. Puro esnobismo intelectualoide.

Breaking: @ProvisionistP to receive the "Man Enough" award from @ReformedCaio. Even though Caio did more than anyone to prevent the post from being deleted, pride lost and humility prevailed. 🙌🏆

To be born again is a work of the Spirit given to those who believe in Jesus Christ that they may be sealed and adopted into the family of God to live forever in peace with God.

Excellent resource

Long ago David Ponter likened his CalvinandCalvinism.com blog to Katyusha rockets. A powerful analogy. It’s no wonder opponents mostly gave up fighting us on the historical front. They quickly wanted to shift to exegetical discussions instead, lest they receive “Stalin’s Organ.”

I have never once praised God for someone’s rejection of Christ (and I never will).

Both of these guys went very publicly in with some of the worst CNs and the AmRef set, but now that the vibes shifted this week they’re going to pretend they stood principled and aloof. And the devotees will gobble up and regurgitate every word of it. Total cognitive dissonance.

The way X cut this off made it 10x funnier 100x more accurate than the OP's version. 🤣

My favorite throwback was when he tried this on Tim Barber. Tim responded in Greek, and James switched to a different tactic so fast it gave me a permanent neck injury.

Throwback to this @HwsEleutheroi debate moment.

"We have fixed our hope on the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of believers" (1 Tim. 2:10). "Only raw theological dogmatism could be bold enough to contradict the plain meaning of this text: Christ’s redemptive work was for everyone" (Geisler, ST V. 3, 356).

1 John 2:19 is probably the clearest depiction of popular Calvinism being worked out in the entire NT.

Today I learned that "fails to grasp the importance of" is rhetorical language for "rejects my interpretation on grammatical and syntactical grounds."
