There’s a fine line between: 1) trusting someone to do a good job and 2) keeping someone accountable for doing the job It seems development of that skill is correlated with sustainable business growth.
Do actions that lead to changes in behavior. Don’t do actions for the sake of doing an action.
Building a solid foundation only feels like progress when you look back. Be patient.
Be grateful for every dollar you make from your own blood, sweat and tears.

If you have not mastered value-based pricing you have not mastered sales. It's still about you. Your solutions. Your way of doing things. Your prices. When you value price it ceases to be about you. You become client-focused in a way you never understood was possible.
Growth definitely does not feel good at times. But it is necessary.
An idea shared is sometimes accepted. An idea never shared is never accepted.
Figuring out what is important and not important is a continuously evolving skill.
A good question to occasionally ask: Why am I holding onto this? Whether it’s a belief, a system, a process, an item, an investment, a relationship, a thought, an emotion, etc. Keeping it for value and progress vs. for comfort are two different motives.
“Just give up. It’s too hard.” There are days when thoughts telling you to give up are louder than others. When it doesn’t feel like there’s a reason to keep going. But then that’s the best time to remember, “I’m doing this for something beyond myself.” There’s other people…

Being an able to break something down into smaller and smaller parts is definitely a skill worth having. Problem solving becomes much easier.
How does this help our bottom line in a month or less? This is a question I like to ask myself. Especially when overwhelmed. Even better if it's a week or less. We easily get bombarded by so many things. It’s good idea to weed out what is distraction from what is practical.
Test the idea simply. We MVPed a service idea recently and it surprisingly got traction. Google doc, Stripe links, ActiveCampaign and Google sheets. Implemented in a couple weeks. Growing for the last 11. Keep it simple.
Sometimes a period of mental deweeding is needed. Constant knowledge consuming is like having a garden overgrown with plants. It's all so tangled that it's hard to tell what is wanted and unwanted. Same with distinguishing applicable and inapplicable knowledge.
I never would’ve imagined watering newly seeded grass would teach me applicable business lessons 🙄 💦 🌱🌱🌱🌱
