5 Engineering & Mr O'Dea visited @CHCHelicopter Shannon and @TUS_Midwest yesterday. They got a tour of the Sikorsky S92, including seeing the engines and rotors up close. They then went to TUS, to experience Materials Testing, CNC Machining and other areas of Engineering.

Congratulations to Mr. O'Dea's 5th Year Engineering class, who participated in the Discover Manufacturing Design competition. The class received their certificates of participation last week. Thanks to @I_Form_Centre @StrykerIreland @ESIgroup @EITManufactur for all their support.
Mr. O'Dea's 2nd Yr Engineering class bounced out the door last week with their jitterbug projects. These projects combined design, CNC Laser Cutting, benchwork, fitting and soldering skills in 1 project. This is just a sample of some of the projects completed. Well done to all!!
Mr. Donovan's 1st Yr Engineering class completed their fox projects last week. Some wonderful examples of their designs, material selection and skills. Well done to them all!
The very best of luck to our LCA Technology class, who have their task interview this morning. They made mood lights as part of their task, and completed a folder detailing their experiences and skills developed over the course of this task.
