Many thanks to Ashley Johnston @stmargaretsps for delivering our first Practitioner Enquiry Session. This helped to develop our understanding of how to carry out a successful enquiry and prompted us to think of possible lines of enquiry for our projects.
At our Action Learning Set we explored the themes: Differentiation, Assessement/Feedback and Pupil independence. We worked together to develop our knowledge further and to identify strategies we can take forward in the classroom.
Learning about achieving a depth and breadth of engaging learning experiences via Maths Through Stories. Huge thanks to Rona Smith @LauriestonPS for sharing with us practical tips, fab resources and her enthusiasm at these valuable sessions. #LaurMTS
Thank you to Matthew Coulter @stjosephsps and Iain Livingstone @BraesHigh for sharing their experience and delivering and informative session on pedagogy.
We appreciate the valuable input from @LouiseAmos5 and @JudeDav60301626 on Specific Learning Differences. This allowed us to see the challenges that some of our learners face and strategies that we can put in place to support them.
We explored how to engage our learners in effective writing lessons. We considered the structures, routines, resources and supports which need to be in place to ensure success for learners, alongside some fun and excitement, of course! 🧙🧹🪄🎃
An incredibly inspiring session on UNCRC, encouraging us to embrace the Rights journey each school is on, to help make a difference. We very much appreciated Headteacher Jacqueline McLaughlin sharing @antonine01's achievements in embedding the Rights within their community.

Many thanks to Gill Campbell and Christie McAlpine @FalkirkCMHWB for an insightful session, helping us to reflect on supports available to help mental health and wellbeing for both our learners in Falkirk and us. At PLC 2, we explored Components of a Lesson, learning together.
On Thursday, we enjoyed fantastic Outdoor Learning CLPL, learning about the practicalities of providing engaging and relevant outdoor experiences, while also developing our team work and den building skills! A huge thanks to @MissDalyAPS of @airthprimary for leading us.
