Staff Major General Omar Salih, Commander of Forces 70, led a senior political and military delegation in Koya District, inaugurating the Shorsh Medical Center–Koya Branch, and meeting with officials to strengthen coordination, security, and public services.
W/in ongoing capacity-building efforts, the second English language and PC improvement course concluded at Forces 70 taught by instructors from the Nami Institute, w/ the participation of 520officers and personnel, aiming to enhance their language proficiency and computer skills.
To enhance combat readiness and operational effectiveness, Forces 70's 714th Brigade conducted specialized weapons training, focusing on proper weapon handling, improving field capabilities, and planning as well as executing offensive and defensive operations on the battlefield.

On his 8th passing anniversary, a senior delegation from Forces 70 visited the shrine of late Pres. Mam Jalal Talabani in Sulaimani, laying a wreath in his honor and reaffirming their commitment to continue his national path, vision and dedication to the people of Kurdistan.
Staff Maj. Gen. Omar Salih Hassan, Cmdr of Forces 70, received Awat Mohammed, District Governor of Sulaimani. They discussed strengthening cooperation between the Peshmerga and local administration to enhance coordination among security bodies and ensure stability in the city.
