Dealing with game issues in game is a mistake a lot of amateurs make. Just talk to players, and if it's not disrupting the game or making anyone else unhappy reevaluate the game you're running and what everybody wants from it.
freaks me out to see ppl talking about "dealing with" murderhobos in games they run by "punishing" them with stuff. talk to your players about what you all want from the story jesus christ

My group only runs D&D with homebrew campaigns in homebrew settings(or Greyhawk gods in Generic Land.) I'm surprised these are so popular.
