BRICS is a ten-country alliance of: Brazil, China, Egypt, Ethiopia, India, Indonesia, Iran, Russia, South Africa and UAE. It does not include Iraq. An Iranian revolution would affect relations with Russia, and ME counties, but few of the others.

You are there 🤔 @EU_Commission Where’ve you been .. for the last 11 days 🤷‍♀️ standing ‘fully behind yourselves’ .. Kowtowing to the Islamic Republic of Iran for so long .. And all of a sudden you’re now interested in .. their ‘human rights’.. If only 🙄 #FreeIran 🦁❤️

Because Danish people care about their country as much as Americans care about theirs.

What’s going on @BBCNews? First, it has woefully underreported events in Iran. Then, when it finally decides to lead with the protests in last night’s flagship BBC1 News at Ten, it was a shambles — as if the segment had been thrown on air without care or concern. Live 24 hour…

I am assuming she means accents from Richard Curtis films. Anyway I am fascinated by accents. Often thought about doing a thread on them using YT clips. But considering that there are at least 6 different accents in Cambridgeshire alone (where I live). It's just impossible.

british accents are fucking annoying.

If our glorious leader bans Twitter in Britain, I would just like everyone to know that I always really hated the Red Hot Chilli Peppers. All their songs are just gibberish rhymes, here, I made up one now, which would get into any of their albums and nobody would notice. "Down…

I watched this episode of 'Digging for Britain' last night and it is the most incredible find, on a par with the Snettisham torcs or the Mildenhall Treasure - seemingly the tribal war-regalia of the Iceni tribe (or perhaps of another tribe they defeated...)

Archaeologists discovered a remarkable collection of Iron Age objects from around 2,000 year ago in West Norfolk. Among it a near-complete Iron Age battle trumpet (carnyx)! and parts of another and a boar's head flag standard 📷Norfolk Museums Service bbc.com/news/articles/…

No one who runs like this should be anywhere near power.

Zack Polanski has transformed the Green Party. Since being elected leader, he has doubled Green Party membership and warned the Greens are catching up with Labour. Watch the full video: trib.al/w8Q9qRn

The thing with social media: It burst the blob's exclusivity bubble & they didn't like it one bit. Joe Blogs expressing his views eloquently, alongside journalists & politicians in a global Speakeasy open to all - well, that was never going to be welcomed, was it.

Musk is going all in on Starmer again. This was such a pointless, stupid fight for Labour to pick. So many AI’s do exactly the same thing Grok has been doing - everyone can see they want to ban X because they hate Elon and they get rinsed on his platform every day.

Starmer literally has a lower approval rating than Maduro 😂

Might not be all bad if the UK bans Twitter. It’ll be great fun when we all rock up to that Blue Sky place, like barbarians descending on Rome.
