Inspired by the book, Everywhere Beauty Is Harlem, our students looked for and found beauty everywhere at Good Elementary this six weeks, especially in the "faces" of the book-character pumpkins! Our Tigers and their families are amazingly creative!
The Good Library program is off to a great start! Our students are excited about our principal's book challenge, Beanstack prizes, and becoming Library Leaders!
The last weeks of school were filled with poetry, celebrations, and mountains of books being returned. :) Thank you all for a wonderful year in the library! May these summer days bring you happy moments spent within the pages of books!
What do Good Tigers love to do? READ! We relished two wonderful books about wild tigers this six weeks: The Story of Little Babaji and The Tiger Without Stripes! Please see this infographic to find out about more literary, artistic, and STEM happenings in our library.
Thank you, Momentum Dance Company, for performing excerpts from The Wizard of Oz for our 4th graders! I've already had a student check out the book today, and so many of our students are eager to come watch the entire ballet in April!
During the fourth six weeks in the Good Library, our Tigers have fallen more in love with books. They have also coded Indi Cars, learned to be detectives on the Internet, and participated in reading incentives like Beanstack!
It was an exciting 3rd six weeks at the Good Elementary Library . . . full of coding activities, a book fair, and beautiful gingerbread houses decorated by our students and their families!
The circulation desk is extra welcoming now. This sign has been getting a lot of positive attention. What a wonderful gift! Thank you IISD Libraries!!!

Good Families, the beautiful gingerbread houses you and your children made together are spreading holiday cheer in the library! They represent the sweet community that Good is!

We're thankful for coding at Good Elementary! Last week, 2nd graders moved Ozobots over the river and through the woods to get to Grandmother's house for Thanksgiving.
