The girl that catches Kumiko's eye the most is the golden euph player the staff used to pull off that trick in the prologue. We know she's a first-year by the red. She plays a golden instrument, and by her side there's silver euph third year just like Asuka. The cycle continues
All the hints at the passage of time in the epilogue are cute. The first episode's teaser did it with the much wearier club sign, and now it's underlined with a closeup of tattered Tuba-kun, the acrylics that denote it's not long after Covid, updated real-life architecture, etc
Might be the best animated episode in all of Eupho too. Aimless increases of detail can be of no much use but the nuance they get out of it elevates this one further. There's relief & happiness when Kumiko hears that Reina recognized her sound, but also bitterness over the result
