If we could - our council would love to slow time down for every one at these amazing conferences —- not as an escape but for the chance to savor every bit of the experience and to then to return back to scheduled programming. #sschat
A5 O have attended numerous state ones hosted by @TxSocialStudies and connected with teachers that continue to help me. I was fortunate to go to 3 @NCSSNetwork in my career and hope to go to more. Luckily social media helps me network and learn too!

This organization has definitely added value to my teaching! It has shaped so much of who I am as a teacher!
A4: As a state council it is a challenge to reach out to all teachers, and this is something that require conitnuous improvement. Our goal is to add value to a teacher’s personal and professional growth. #sschat

A4: I can't even begin to say how much I've grown because of local & national councils, iCivics Ednet, GLI, WAMS-- I love to learn & I love being with other learners. I'm a better teacher because I've been lucky to surround myself with other passionate educators! #sschat
