I hope you realise what this is really about: Once the legislation is passed, all of us will have to prove our identity to social media platforms (to confirm we are over 16). Eventually the state will say 'wouldn't it be easier if you just had Digital ID?'
This just means that eventually everyone will need an ID to use social media (another way around preventing people from being anonymous) It's never about child safety and it's always about applying pressure towards political dissidents.

Why not just ban smart phones for under 16s. They can have brick phones for emergencies of course and texting friends. Much more wholesome upbringing this way too. But of course, it’s not about protecting children, it’s about creating excuses for a digital ID system.
There's one group of people who should be able to decide whether their child goes on social media or not. PARENTS.
