Neal Brown and North Texas have finalized their agreement, sources tell @YahooSports.

I think TTU has come to realize during this season that them leaving for the SEC might actually be a bad move. They have a spending advantage in the Big 12. This year shows they can make it into the top 5 and its actually quite likely that they will get a bye in the CFP.…

Penn State fired James Franklin because it believed National Championships were the standard, only to be turned down by the coach at BYU because the CEO of Crumbl Cookies outbid Penn State's boosters.

Sources: BYU coach Kalani Sitake has begun to inform people that he intends to stay at the school. BYU is in the process of putting together a lucrative contract to keep him. He's been one of main targets at Penn State, which he informed of his decision today.

Pat Kraft fired James Franklin to start the Penn State search as early as possible… Spoke to Urban, NIL disagreements Elko was close, couldn’t close Spoke to Cignetti, Rhule, Freeman, Drinkwitz, and Lea. Struck out. Banked on an Iron Bowl loss to full court press DeBoer…

BYU has those deep pockets. He is about to get seriously paid. Probably a whole bunch of new outside NIL deals for him and the team too.

Smart move. That guy is like Mr Football in the State of Texas right? Look at their recruiting. On top of that, they got him for 7 mil a year! Very smooth Texas Tech.

Sources confirm that Texas Tech coach Joey McGuire has agreed in principle to a new seven-year deal worth an average of nearly $7 million  per year. Texas Tech is No. 5 in the CFP. Yahoo reported first.

Statement from Lane Kiffin on Charlie Weis Jr. returning to Ole Miss to coach in the playoffs.

bmarcello's tweet image. Statement from Lane Kiffin on Charlie Weis Jr. returning to Ole Miss to coach in the playoffs.

Yeah for anyone whom said there was no chance the CFP might have dropped Ole Miss over all this. Especially for those, whom work for the same company as Adam here, that said it was fearmongering to even suggest the idea.

Lane Kiffin statement on offensive coordinator Charlie Weis Jr.: "With the playoff committee releasing updated rankings tonight, I wanted it to be known that after conversations with LSU, we are allowing Charlie to return to Ole Miss to coach the team during the playoffs. ..."

Nobody in the SEC wanted Ole Miss to get left out of the CFP due to coaching issues. Everybody loses money if that happens. Not surprising that Ole Miss relented to this degree. Kiffin cant stay for the CFP but his OC that is leaving with him can. It's a jab at Kiffin and…

Yeah, try and tell me that they didnt get some signaling from the CFP that drastic measures might have to be taken.

Charlie Weis Jr. returning to Oxford for the CFP run.

So, Coach Saban, any advice on what I should get into the contract?

Something interesting from Lane Kiffin’s term sheet: He will owe no more than $7M to the school if he chooses to leave for another head coaching position, and only half of the stated numbers of Verge Ausberry is no longer AD.

MSU has a good sized stadium but its very outdated. This new look looks amazing and take them into the next age of CFB. Looks like some folks in the comments would like to see more of a Greek Architecture vibe for the Spartans.

A re-imagined Spartan Stadium, including a new East Tower with a diversity of premium seating options and year-round functionality, will provide football fans the best in-game experience in college football.

If you think wasting $228M this year alone to pay coaches not to work is imbecilic (and I do), there’s no reason SCORE shouldn’t be amended in the Senate to disincentivize it. Here’s my suggestion, @chiproytx:

Roy: The SEC, BIG 10, ACC… they’re pushing this hard. What we just saw unfold with Lane Kiffin is an absolute abomination. People say: Well, this is the market working. This is not supposed to be a market… If we’re going to intervene, maybe we should fully intervene. Maybe…

This is their new Athletic Director at work. He did similar at Georgia Tech and we all see how successful that was.

That last part would seem to be written for the Ole Miss situation. It wasn't of course but Ole Miss lost their Head Coach and pretty much their entire Offensive Coaching staff. Are we about to see Ole Miss fall out of the CFP top 10 tonight?

See guys? Even he has come around. There was only one way this was ever going to go down. House passes, Senate amends and then House passes the amended Bill. In Politics folks make big loud stands against something until they get their little thing put into the Bill.

My goals and the goals of @SavingCollSprts have remained very consistent: Pass legislation that will save ALL Sports! Women’s Sports, Olympic Sports, and Sports at smaller and lower profile schools. Our objectives exactly mirror the objectives of @POTUS Executive Order, issued…

Rep. Chip Roy (R-Texas) ahead of the expected House floor vote of the SCORE Act this week: "Why in the hell are we allowing coaches to walk out and be paid not to coach for years? It’s insane." There is belief that the House has the votes to pass SCORE but it will be tight.

Maybe…

That will get fixed when they all have 20.

In other words, this man has been bought and paid for by the Private Equity League people.

Rep. Chip Roy of Texas: “If we’re going to intervene, maybe we should fully intervene. Maybe we should fix the damn mess so we don’t have 16 teams in the SEC and 17 teams in the ACC and 19 teams in the BIG 10 and freaking Stanford and Berkeley on the West Coast in the Atlantic…
