Doesn’t look that bothered to me. Good.

No names were mentioned so the journalist adds her own. Whatever happened to reporting facts.

New - I understand angry MPs this afternoon spoke to Starmer at PLP committee to ask he sack whoever was briefing against Streeting or who authorised any attacks. He declined to do so. McSweeney not mentioned by name but it was taken as Starmer backing him.

Shadow Chancellor Mel Stride is currently lecturing the Government on what they should do in terms of the economy. All the things the Tories failed to do themselves when in government, cutting civil service, cutting taxes, reducing debts. The hypocrisy is off the scale.

Farage failed at #pmqs to condemn one of his councillors for calling children in care “evil”. He failed to condemn the racism of his fellow Reform MP. What’s the betting he won’t condemn the racism of the, now suspended, MS Laura Anne Jones who said "no chinky spies for me."

Keir Starmer: The comments about children in care being evil are utterly appalling... I'm sure Farage will want to condemn them? Nigel Farage: No #PMQs

Farage gets his question at #pmqs and is soundly put in his place by Starmer.

These blows from Badenoch aren’t landing. Starmer has come out fighting. #PMQs

5 million additional NHS appointments. That’s the news. #PMQs

Seeing a lot of deliberate/accidental misinterpretation of this chart - it shows Universal Credit only so reflects the fact that 3/4 of a million people on legacy incapacity benefits have been moved onto UC over the past year. It is NOT the rise in people on incapacity benefits

More than 4million Universal Credit claimants now have no requirement to work - that's predominantly people who are sick along with students and those with caring responsibilities The rise is extraordinary - it's gone up from from 2.896million in October 2024 to 4.027million in…

Before Starmer starts his prep for PMQs this morning, he needs to find out who made that briefing and sack them. No matter how senior and how close they were to the PM.

The rise isn’t extraordinary. The graph is just of Universal Credit claimants and millions have been moved onto it from other benefits which it has absorbed and those legacy benefits they may also have had no such requirements.

I have to say those briefing against the PM are well over their skis. Running a country isn’t like running a football team. You don’t change managers every time you hit a tough patch. Changing PM won’t change the wreckage we’ve inherited or the storms blowing in from abroad or…

Written answer: “To date, we have provided approximately £274 million for working capital, covering items such as raw materials, salaries, and addressing unpaid bills, including for SMEs in the supply chain.” But this Tory thinks AI slop covers it. Heavens.

£1,400,000 of your money. Every day. That’s what Labour is pouring into their botched steel nationalisation. Cost exploded by 40% on rate two months ago. No impact assessment. No plan. Their spending is out of control!
