How does it take almost a full year to release this? Most of the base functionality is already in the game. 4 people could have a prototype in one afternoon. Any pre-release testing and maintenance could be done in a week to a month tops.

Personally I often set the microwave to 99 seconds to save myself a beep. Anything past the second digit is considered a number of minutes but the last 2 digits are always seconds so you can use this to your advantage when trying to prepare stealthier meals.
