Great collaboration between @ECPGR and @LeibnizIPK in hosting the central European hub for information on plant genetic resources (EURISCO). The increasing importance of such central repositories was recently highlighted in @NAR_Open. doi.org/10.1093/nar/gk… #genebanks
#Genebanks play an essential role in plant genetic resources conservation. Out of 1,800 genebank collections worldwide, more than 600 are in Europe. EURISCO is a database providing a central point for information on European crop diversity. More 👉buff.ly/3yYW1ee
