If you are high academic and can make finances work I think the elite D3 is often better route than LM. Plus just better balance, basketball doesn't consume your life, you can study what you want (Lot of D1s push kids into "easy" majors)
WBB upset! D3 Johns Hopkins beats Morgan State 75-59. More than D1 Stetson beat Morgan St by Lot of these D3 upsets in #ncaaw, its high academic schools, I think maybe they can get a higher caliber player, kid wanting best academics, maybe they get some kids who pass up LM D1?
