Rendering of the final version of the "KR1801VM2 Application Board" (APB), a plug-in board for the Studio 68 using a soviet KR1801VM2 CPU (PDP11 "clone").
For those wanting play with the Kevin Price porting of MS-DOS v2.11 on the V20-MBC, here all the files needed with a special IOS version supporting the MS-DOS OS. Read carefully the instructions on the github page: github.com/SuperFabius/A2…
Testing the VGA adapter for the Studio 68 board. Here a simple test using the STM32 as processor:
Started to test the Z80 Application Board (APB) + Studio 68. In this test the RAM is inside the FPGA and preloaded with a Z80 HALT instruction (the 68SEC000 CPU on the Studio 68 is held in high-Z). The Studio 68 here acts as slave to the Z80 APB.
#V20MBC Thanks to Kevin Price now MS-DOS 2.11 is running on the V20-MBC! See: github.com/keyvin/v20mbc-… V20-MBC: hackaday.io/project/170924
The "Z80 Application Board" (APB) PCB is just arrived...😀 Thanks to PCBWay that kindly offered me to do this beautiful 4-layer PCB! The Z80 APB allows to connect a Z80 to the Studio 68 board, so it is possible to make "experiments" with custom I/O synthesized inside the FPGA...
