We welcome the launch of Local Nature Recovery Strategies and what this means for woodlands and the benefits they bring 👏 We'll be supporting local authorities to consider opportunities for woodland creation, restoration and improvement, when developing their strategy.

We want local communities to be at the heart of nature recovery 💚 That’s why we’re launching Local Nature Recovery Strategies, which give local authorities greater control to identify how best to conserve and enhance nature in their area 🐝 Read more: gov.uk/government/new…

We’re looking forward to working with @DefraGovUK & @VodafoneUKBiz trialling some of latest web-based technologies to assess their capability to monitor tree growth. If successful the technology will enable more frequent gathering of data & the ability to stream data remotely.

We've partnered with @DefraGovUK and @Forest_Research to investigate how #NarrowbandIoT (#NBIoT) technology can help monitor tree growth and help to understand/support research estimating their ability to absorb and store carbon from the atmosphere. vodafone.uk/3hKvW7H
