If you’re a young person in Ontario, you’re stuck in Doug Ford’s vicious cycle: higher rents, fewer opportunities, and sky-high expenses. Now, Doug Ford is adding to all this sh*t by cutting OSAP and lifting the tuition freeze. And by turning OSAP grants into loans, you're
At a minimum, cuts to OSAP grants will have paid for 43% of announced university funding increases—and possibly more. These changes exacerbate the affordability crisis and risk putting a university education out of reach for many students. tinyurl.com/yjccsa9r

Shrinking OSAP grants only makes it harder for young people to access education. The Ford government has underfunded postsecondary schools for years. Instead of fixing the real issues, they're forcing students to foot the bill.
BREAKING: The ford government is lifting the long-standing tuition freeze for college and university students, as part of its post secondary funding changes: • Tuition: 2% increase per year for 3 years, then rate of 2% or 3-year inflation average • PSE funding: $1.6 B per
Ontario’s minister of colleges and universities says despite the funding increase “there are still more efficiencies that need to be found across the whole sector” #onpoli

Reminder: in Ford’s last budget, there was NO money for health, education or housing. Meanwhile he spent millions of tax dollars on a Super Bowl TV ad making himself look good. He’s spent more on advertising than any other govt. in Ontario’s history.😳
We can’t normalize these cuts and pretend that our government isn’t creating these disasters to bring in profiteers! All hospitals are bankrupt but for 1 🤔 Why are we not enacting the #HealthAct? Ford has had 8 years for a plan, We’re seeing it in action now #DougFordIsCORRUPT

This is what hallway health care looks like in Ontario. It's nurses changing elderly patients in the hallway out of soiled clothing, not because of a lack of care, but rather a lack of resources. For Dr. Raghu Venugopal, an Ontario emergency room physician of 20 years, it's

Every health care worker knows that “finding efficiencies” is a euphemism for job losses. But that’s exactly what Doug Ford’s budget cuts are setting the stage for. At a time when Ontario is facing the worst measles outbreak in a generation and ranks last in per-capita health

Any decent leader would be hanging their head over this. And this is happening in a province that spends less per person than anywhere else in the country. Disgraceful. #ONPoli
