And it IS a shame that there’s so much ageism. But we’re the ones writing the roles. Not every “badass woman” has to be 20-30. Fifty isnt old. I keep seeing writers say this. Write roles so women can keep working.
I fully support the ASC members’ call to ban functional firearms on the sets of all movie and TV production. I call on all my fellow DGA members to join me in this. With all we can do in post production now, there is truly no need for them on sets anymore. #HalynaHutchins
