During the summer the 'lawn' is full of wildflowers and pit stops for the insect pollinators. As Summer turns to Autumn the 'lawn' comes into its own for providing for birds. Many, like this pair of goldfinch, descend on the 'lawn' for a bounty of seeds. No mow is the way to go!
