A number of potential sites for such a facility have been identified.
The Derelict Sites Levy should be collected by the Revenue Commissioners. Only 10% of fines levied by Cork City Council were received in 2023. I’m raising this issue again at our Council meeting on Monday. thecork.ie/2024/07/04/rev…

It’s been a frenetic few weeks for our members in Cork topped with jubilation at the success of 3 elected councillors to city hall. Tinged with sadness at the passing of a much loved member Geoff O’Sullivan. A few words were spoken at his funeral by our Chair, Shane O’Meara.
