Just read the very sad news of the sudden death of Alan Gendle, one of the nicest, most generous and committed orchidophiles I knew. An absolute encyclopaedia of knowledge on Cumbrian orchids, he will be terribly missed. 😢😢😢😢 RIP, Alan.
I'd appreciate some ID help with this orchid @wildflowerID @HardyOrchidSoc @ukorchids it might just be a lean-clustered D fuchsii but it's at a site on Anglesey which has D traunsteinerioides. Unfortunately it had no leaves left apart from the stubs.
