So @Delta is shafting their customers with their massive flight cancelations, even after trying to rebook many times. Delta was the last to keep having problems and now we just lose our money after days later having to buy tickets from someone who could actually do their job.
So here’s @delta’s response to my request to be refunded the $49 I spent to choose a seat.

My vacation is ending the same way as it has started. With @Delta losing my luggage.
@Delta I canceled only my trip by unchecking my husband’s name as well as before I finalized it only said my name and now my husband’s trip is missing and the confirmation code no longer works.
@Delta canceled all 3 of my families flights. My sister will now be stranded in NY since we won’t be able to make it the day that we planned. They now owe me thousands of dollars. This is fucking ridiculous. No warning, no anything from Delta. Such a shitty airline.
@Delta I have only two questions and have been on hold 2 hours. Irritating . Questions in regards to canceling flight due to hurricane Debby.
Although we were able to get rebooked next day (worse seats!), I want to get in touch with @Delta tomorrow because we were given zero notice, had to lose a $400 day at our EDI hotel, $70 Uber, and now have an 8 hour layover in JFK to manage 😳
Apparently delta doesn’t care for your luggage 😐 and I can’t even get through to put in a claim because I get put on hold for 2 hrs and not even get properly helped. First it got lost then when it finally arrive this is how it comes.. @Delta this is unacceptable
@Delta what’s the compensation options from the flight on Friday - JFK to Dublin? That was delayed / cancelled and now bag missing!! @emmett_keane.
@Delta you guys are a horrible airline to go through. i’ve been stranded for two days with constant cancellations and reschedules and the best you can offer is 2,000 sky miles.

@Delta update. We were suppose to land at 2:45 in Detroit. We got sent to Grand Rapids. Sat on the tarmac for 3 hours now we have to wait until 11:45pm for another flight crew to come pick us up. They’re give out $15 vouchers for food but we’re boxed in a zone w no food spots.
