I'll be honest with you: Lib Dems are not a huge machine. We don't have big unions, donors or businesses backing us. But what we do have is ordinary, hard-working folk who want to make our communities stronger. That's why we don't give up and that's why you should vote for us.

This just demonstrates how far behind public opinion our Parliament is! We continue to put young people at risk. We give billions to organised crime instead of getting tax revenues to support the NHS and schools! How ludicrous is that?
As a Govenor , retired teacher I was approached by worried staff. The Head had investigated and found nothing to see. I quietly approached the police who were specialists in this. Teacher was arrested and served 2.5 years in prison. It can and should be done.
The first instinct of those in charge of schools and universities when told about a rape or sexual assault in their institution would be to cover it up to protect their reputation.

One thing Johnson seems to hate is confrontation, hates strong women (Yvette Cooper, Nicola Sturgeon). He hides (in the fridge, Cobra meetings, prorogue of parliament). If a strong person were to confront him, we would then see the tantrums, the rage and the revenge.
I’m sick and tired of hearing about women’s safety plans and policies and strategies and advice, however well-meant. I want to hear about how what’s being done to address men’s behaviour, to make society safer for us all.
